Hood Healing 04:02
A child is born it's a celebration 2 parents cherishing their creation another mother patiently waiting for her son to come home from school but he never made it, randomly hit by a bullet no warning make me think about that song we was singing every morning "Lift every voice and sing" they letting hammers ring right around the corner from the news crew camera team if it happens here they sorta make it relevant cause this the residents of the 44th president it really make me wonder why ya'll(why) why that lil girl have to die ya'll(why) why that lil boy have to die ya'll he ain't do nothin, she ain't do nothin he ain't do nothin, she ain't do nothin We need some healing an outlet to release these feelings some outreach to help cease these killings some mentors who can reach these children and we building we need some healing an outlet to release these feelings some outreach to help cease these killings all hands on deck thats willing and we building A rose grew from a crack in the cement and even blossomed when they thought it was't even meant another shorty critically riddled with led and somehow pulled through when they thought he should've been dead I'm giving flowers to the living if you're noticing and those whose ones I send my deepest condolences through any occurrence we still flourishing like when a mother gives child that good nourishment I see the beauty in the process of an ugly try cause a moth go through the same thing as a butterfly I breathe with the ghetto although we get doubted I believe in the ghetto I bleed with the ghetto in every casualty in the ghetto God bless from here to overseas in the ghetto I'm no longer just thinking bout me in the ghetto cause it's just us and we in the ghetto We need some healing an outlet to release these feelings some outreach to help cease these killings some mentors who can reach these children and we building we need some healing an outlet to release these feelings some outreach to help cease these killings all hands on deck thats willing and we building

I'm like today's era Radio Raheem love hate fist rings, love reigns supreme the yin & yang in came the bridge in between the hearts of men arguing who gone claim king Top 5, 10, 20, 30, 40, 50, do absolutely nothing and you still make history Too much credit given where it's not really deserved no credit given where it's absolutely earned Dollars passed around no knowledge passed around everybody's in a rush the worlds a lot faster now Even the fans got A.D.D. drop a classic next day like what you did lately Microwave society, nobody’s chefing nobody got the answers still nobody questions All these music challenges on these social sites nobody making challenging music in real life (Like for real, what is Ya'll doing out here man, I see everybody following these trends & following these trends & steady following another trend & all the such n such challenge man we all lost in reality out here man. And we think we doing good, but we out her taking L’s man, we taking big L’s man, we need to get it right) We are out here losing with a false sense of winning debating who the best is a story that’s never ending Debating Jay or Nas, or Kendrick or Cole, Kobe, Jordan, Lebron when all of them boys cold (R.I.P. Kobe) Like it can't be 1,2 or 3 of us out here winning simultaneously See we compete often steady feeding the bellies of those that eat off it See we compete but really where’s the competition where’s all the story tellers telling compositions See I don’t wanna(Wanna for want to) listen to what they feeding us in repetition so I see this music as a weapon listen We use to use it on the system til(Til for until) they flipped it on us like a mickey in a drink, they slipped it on us And we done swallowed it whole killing the soul now today cats don’t even know the history on it Born out the struggle of civil rights it is not something you do it’s a way of life And rapping is just a fraction to it I done laid down a plan to put some action to it Like bring it back you can’t bring back what never left like you can’t wake up everyone who slept Some people just will never get it talking ….... you know the story everyone's a critic

Self Healing 03:35
Namaste, today we gone be dealing with the heart chakra them curve balls life throw can be a hard shocker I truly hope you find some healing you'll never know the evils another person is dealing with, using my wit to peep it most try to keep it a secret to no avail in this world cause people be tweaking and can snap at any second exactly why personal space should be respected you'll never know the thoughts people let sink in, or when your strong friend going off the deep end even I had a moment the other day I felt suicidal something I thought I would never say that's when I found heaven in my child's laughter never sound solace in a church with a loud pastor I read the books took what I can use G and discarded everything else cause it confused me When we should pray or meditate we a self-medicate and self degregate the positives we should regulate when we should separate from keeping toxic company I somehow be looking for that company to comfort me(like) seeking validation from people secretly hating smiling the whole time they be patiently waiting for you to take a L and they be needed in the end they wanna see you doing good just not better than them if you need to be alone take a break and pause breathe and get in tune with the universal laws sage your heart not only your house crack a window or a door let that energy out let ya mind run free quit running ya mouth you'll find peace in being still that's without a doubt My writings are therapeutic note only for the papes or sake of just doing music this positive propaganda inspirational slander questions asked last after leading with the answers Jeopardy, this is lyrical telepathy so if you're hearing this you're virtually taking some steps with me I stay G with the knowledge nourishment for ya soul encouragement for ya wallet ya thoughts trump all that ya pockets hold that fire on you better stop, drop, and roll figuratively and literally so if you're hearing this a ally you can consider me let ya good thoughts become reality and speak blessings over the casualty and tragedy

about

This is introspective album, where Boodah the Emcee takes the listeners on a journey to his upbringing. The love of coming from there and wanting to see it change for the better internally & externally. This album reflets what Boodah feels Hip Hop (and the people) needs more of which is essentially more love. Everything from tough love to self-love it's here.
